VOLUNTARY
DEPARTURE PROGRAM
Kindly be informed that
the Directorate for Aliens Policing of the National Directorate- General for
Alien Policing in partnership with FRONTEX (European Border and Coast Guard
Agency) has launched a voluntary departure program.
The voluntary departure
program will facilitate the return of the following categories:
1.
Third-country nationals (Nigerians) who
are staying in Hungary illegally;
2.
Third-country nationals (Nigerians) who
are already overstaying;
3.
Third-country nationals (Nigerians) who
have already been ordered to return with voluntary departure;
4.
Third-country nationals who require
financial support for purchasing flight ticket for return.
The application for
voluntary return can be submitted at the client services offices of the Regional
Directorates of the Directorate General during office hours. More information on

Steps
for the Application Procedure
1.
Visit the client service office of the
regional directorate assigned to your place of residency.
2.
Attend an interview where you must
indicate your interest to apply for the voluntary departure program and answer
questions of the interviewer.
3.
The competent unit of the Directorate General
will examine and assess your application based on merit.
4.
Receive a decision of your request.
5.
Make booking and travel arrangement.
6.
Applicant is notified of travel dates and
flight ticket is issued electronically.
7.
Applicant arranges for timely transfer to
the airport on the day of departure and departs Hungary.
