The Embassy does not issue this document. Nigerians without birth certificates or those who wish to have it reissued are advised to obtain an Certificate of Birth from the National Population Commission Offices in Nigeria. Nigerian Population Commission has offices in the 36 States of the Federation and including the Federal Capital Territory in Abuja. This document should be authenticated by the Consular and Legal Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abuja before it is presented to the Embassy in Budapest. Please note that this document does not have a validity period.
